This season, only one of the quartet will share a scene with 'Star Trek's' Sulu, George Takei, who'll play himself on the CBS comedy in an episode tentatively scheduled for Thu., Oct. 14.

In that episode, Takei will appear alongside fellow geek icon Katee Sackhoff ('Battlestar Galactica').

In an interview, Prady explained that Wolowitz is thinking about getting back together with his ex-girlfriend Bernadette (Melissa Rauch), and it sounds as though Sackhoff and Takei will represent opposing points of view.

"George Takei plays himself, and he's the other person guiding Wolowitz in his thoughts as he tries to figure out what to do about Bernadette," Prady said.

The Super Hero Squad Show, Cartoon Network's adorable kid-friendly series starring Marvel Comics icons, boldly goes on a casting spree for its upcoming second season, which will be previewed next week Comic-Con.

"We explore what happens in the Marvel Universe outside of Earth — different dimensions, outer space and all these crazy places," says Cort Lane, Marvel's VP for animation. "So we took the opportunity to feature guest stars to explore those more sci-fi characters." Cameos will come from a hall of fame of the genre, as well as some prime-time comedy stars, to emphasize the show's humorous tone.

On the roster are (pictured, clockwise from top): StarTrek's George Takei, returning as Galactus, Ty Burrell(Modern Family) as Captain Marvel, Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory) as Nightmare, Jane Lynch (Glee) as Nebula, Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) as She-Hulk and Adam West (Batman) as Nighthawk.

Also coming this season are Mark Hamill (Star Wars), Jonathan Frakes and Michael Dorn(Star Trek: The Next Generation), John Barrowman (Torchwood), James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Kevin Sorbo (Hercules) and Nina Dobrev (The Vampire Diaries). "Honestly, it's shocking," Lane jokes, "because we're only paying scale."

George Takei is the first big name guest to be announced for next-year’s SFX Weekender which takes place 4-5 February 2011.

Of his appearance at the SFX Weekender, George Takei said: “I’m boldly going where I have never gone before – to the SFX Weekender! I greatly look forward to beaming over to Camber Sands in February 2011 to see old friends… and to meet new ones.”
