Katee Talks About 24’s Shooting Hiatus as Kiefer Gets Better

The cast and crew of “24″ got an unexpected midseason break when Kiefer Sutherland suddenly fell ill. He needed two weeks to recover from surgery, so production on the show was shut down while its star recuperated. When we talked to Katee Sackhoff on Monday (3/1), she told us that everyone on the set was concerned with one thing: making sure Kiefer got better. Fortunately for “24″ fans, the break won’t delay any of this season’s episodes. In fact, another new episode of ”24″ airs Monday night at 9/8c on Fox.
