Katee Sackhoff Pursuing Powers

Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming’s comic book series was announced last year for a TV series and officially greenlit by FX on Friday. The story is set in a world of superheroes, following a pair of homicide detectives who are tasked with investigating apparent superhuman-related deaths. One of the cops, Christian Walker, is a former superhero who lost his powers, and the other, Deena Pilgrim, is trying to hide recently developed powers of her own.

One name you know is already pursuing the Pilgrim role: Katee Sackhoff. She tweeted earlier in the week, before the series got it’s greenlight, “Already met on #powers last year! I love it! I’ve just been waiting for a green light to go after it!”
