Batman 3′ Official Title

The third Batman film from director Christopher Nolan  is officially titled The Dark Knight Rises, Nolan revealed in a recent interview with Hero Complex.

 Nolan  confirmed that the villian will not be  The Riddler. He also previously revealed that Mr. Freeze was not in the running for villain either.

The director, who will helm the third film from a script he co-wrote with his brother Jonah, said that The Dark Knight Rises will not jump on the current 3D bandwagon.

…Warner Bros. had agreed with his argument that the film should resist the current 3-D craze and instead use high-definition approaches and IMAX cameras to strike out on a different cinematic path than the stereoscopic technology that, for better or worse, has become the dominant conversation in the blockbuster sector.

Also, a report surfaced this week that claimed that Nolan has begun his search for a female lead for the film who will be a new face in Hollywood in their late 20s or early 30s, someone who’s not a big-name celebrity.
