Syfy Grabs Season 2 Of 'Merlin'

BBC import switches networks for more sword-swinging adventures

Dragons, knights, witches, and wizards ... it can only be the return of BBC's, "Merlin."

But, don't go looking on NBC's summer schedule for the popular U.K. series. This time the wizard in training will be found on Syfy.

The first season of the series, which is filmed in the United Kingdom through the BBC's drama department, was acquired by NBC -- part of the Universal conglomerate along with Syfy -- to fill its summer schedule last year and was met with a mixed critical and viewer response. Now that the second season has completed its British run and summer is fast approaching, the series will debut its second season on Syfy.

However, if you missed out on the spellbinding series last year, you will be able to catch up on all 13 episodes shortly before the new adventures are shown. Syfy will hold a "Merlin" marathon on March 28, when it will run through the complete first season.
