Many fans have been left upset and disappointed by the poor levels of organisation at the Karen Gillan signing in Glasgow, yesterday afternoon.
Over 150 fans, including people who had been queueing for hours, were turned away from the signing as the BBC "did not expect this level of interest." (What are they insane?? Of course it was going to generate a huge amount of "interest")

Many members of the Doctor Who forum, Gallifrey Base, have also been speaking of their experiences.
"According to a staff member it was initially one wristband per person, then when they realised that putting wristbands on each family member (even babies) was unnecessary they changed the policy to "One wristband per group". Then they realised that that meant that only one item per group could be signed - and lots of kids had items to be signed, so they changed it to "One wristband per item". Some of the staff said it was a BBC decision and others said it was the store's decision. It was very confusing."
Regarding her tenure on the show, Gillan didn't reveal any information, saying she's "just taking it series by series and I’m just having fun. So, I don’t know. I have no idea."
"It’s really funny but it’s also heartbreaking," she said of the upcoming special, "and you get a glimpse into Amy and Rory's honeymoon, which is an interesting one."
Karen also remained tight-lipped about the next series, which will air as part of asplit transmission next year.
