Kevin Bacon has been cast as the villain in the X-Men prequel, but we don’t know who that villain is yet.
Variety has confirmed the rumour that Kevin Bacon has been cast as the main villain in the X-Men prequel movie, but the identity of that villain has yet to be revealed. Of course, we already knew that Michael Fassbender has been cast as the young Magneto, but at the period in which the film is set, Magneto and Professor X are still bestest mates… well at the beginning of the movie anyway. So, who could Bacon be playing? Some fans are speculating it could be Mr Sinister. Whatever the case, it’s a great development for Six Degrees Of Separation, because now we can link Bacon to Skins through Nicholas Hoult (who’s playing Beast).Variety also reports that Jennifer (Winter’s Bone) Lawrence has nabbed the role of blue-skinned shapeshifter Mystique (played by Rebecca Romijn in the first three X-Men films).
